You can read this and other reviews at Things I Find While Shelving I received a free ARC of this book via NetGalley This fact has no bearing on my review This was interesting It s about a soldier and dog bomb diffusing team After an IED puts them both out of action for awhile, they have to relearn the old tricks and make sure they re able and ready to go back to war It s told from the point of view of Goliath, the dog, and it worked and was done very well Very interesting piece.

I received this novel from NetGalley.Wow, this novella is moving and confronting, it shows a whole different side to the war on terror The writing is poetic, it enables the reader to be transported to a different place, to feel the anxiety felt by Goliath.At first this novella is a little confusing, working out who is narrating and who is the protagonist, however once that realisation is made, it is a wondrous and frightening thing The personification is done so well, this novella is a wonder.Th [...]

    3. This is one interesting book with an unconventional narrator that puts a different perspective on the war against terrorism I loved the premise and the writing was top notch.I d like to thank NetGalley for providing me a free review copy
