    1. They say that you can t judge a book by its cover, but Aliens in the Gift Shop might just be the exception This was a quick, fun, and humorous read with a slightly snarky narration that added character to an already quirky package Despite the lighthearted humorous take on science fiction, the story was jam packed with fast paced action Plus, names like Quigbat and Zort are just fun to say Even with funny names, the writing is neat, simple, and perfect for recommendation to SciFi and humor fans o [...]

    2. As soon as I started reading Aliens In The Gift Shop I could see it as a film D E Morris creates some really colorful characters and whilst a little tongue in cheek he tells a really entertaining story without getting into the realms of seriously heavy SF.

    3. Aliens in the Gift Shop by D.E Morris,I found the book to be very entertaining and a fun read.Keep up the good work M.Read

    4. If you are looking for lighter science fiction you won t be disappointed with this little gem by D E Morris The story is great but the characters make it I could easily see Aliens In The Gift Shop as a film with some great specials FX.

    5. A fun read with odd characters I mean why would two aliens go to a gift shop upon arriving on earth Because they thought it looked safe Butis is where their adventure begins Marcy is the earth female who meets them They become stuck on earth because they lost the key to their ship There is lots of banter between Zort and Quigmart, the two aliens Then they find a stowaway, the assistant to the premier from their planet It is a fun read with several sci fi actions that make you wish it could be re [...]

    6. Got this one as freebie from one of my sites but the next one Aliens and the Race to Earth from kindle unlimited The 5 star on main rating but the good on the upper is because still trying to figure out just what those stupid ratings even mean, and if everybody agrees that they mean the same thing, who knows Interesting stories but found my attention wandering here and there for different reasons but didn t want the stars to indicate didn t like it, how s that.Aliens in the Gift Shop continued i [...]

    7. Aliens in the Gift Shop was a humorous and entertaining read geared for middle school youth It begins when two ill disguised aliens from another planet enter a gift shop with plans to observe the humans race However, things go wrong when they are overwhelmed by the scents in the shop and begin sneezing non stop With tear filled eyes they race around the store trying to find the exit In the commotion the aliens, Zort and Quigbat drop the key to their spacecraft so that they are unable to regain e [...]

    8. Spending time with Quigbat and Zort is a Hoot I really enjoyed this quirky action packed funny alien story With that being said, I wish the author would change his cover because it doesn t reflect the great story that I found inside I almost passed it up because the cover seemed boring However, after delving into the book, I was hooked and it kept me reading until the end It was full of humor as well as humorous insights on the human race and at one point, I was caught totally off guard when the [...]

    9. It s just another quiet Tuesday in Marcy s little gift shop when two short and strangely dressed men walk in, trying to act casual in their investigation When they come down with sneezing and breathing attacks around the potpourri section, they rush out, dropping a small cylindrical object which Marcy picks up and places in her coat pocket to protect it until they come back to retrieve it What she doesn t know at the time is that these two men are actually bumbling alien scientists who have come [...]

    10. The book is about two bumbling aliens on a cautious research expedition on earth, and the mishaps and adventures that follow D.E Morris is a strong comedy writer The first scene was absolutely hilarious This is an unusually structured book in that it starts out as a comedy I laughed out loud , forays into action comedy, then action, then sci fi adventure So, it was unpredictable That was a minor negative because it was slightly confusing that the story veered toward other genres I thought it cou [...]

    11. Like most successful fiction, Aliens in the Gift Shop starts with an ordinary day that becomes extraordinary It has all the right ingredients for a SF novel, with just enough pseudo science and gobble de gook to satisfy fans of the genre, but the fast paced plot and entertaining comedy makes this a good read for anyone who loves a good story with well drawn characters While parts of the story read like an episode of Star Trek, there is also plenty of clever invention and humor of all kinds as th [...]

    12. I enjoyed this book and can sum it up in one word banter which is somewhat ironic considering bantering involves superfluous amounts of words The aliens banter with each other as they bumble through the mission they were assigned to do on Earth The feisty human our aliens unwillingly get mixed up with banters with the aliens The author s prose banters throughout the entire narrative Some of the humor in the book revolves around fish out of water situational comedy, but the real humor from the bo [...]

    13. Aliens in the gift shop by Morris was full of adventure and non stop conflict The aliens had unfamiliar names which slowed me down but not too much The planet of Xunip figured a short time in the story but most of the adventure was on earth where smells were nearly the death of Zort and Quigbat They lost the key to their spaceship and we are led on a wild goose chase to find it To compound the situation, a baddie, a Vorx, makes their life miserable Will they find the key and make their way home [...]

    14. Unlike aliens from most movies I ve seen Quigbat and Zort are not terrifying with designs to take over the planet In fact, they are quite harmless and perhaps not even very bright I enjoyed spending time with them The Vorx that chases them, however, is all that you would expect from a nasty and violent extraterrestrial and you definitely do not want to meet this character in a dark alley Marcy is human and delightful and probably rues the day that the two amiable aliens walked into her gift shop [...]
