    1. Jack Harkness meets Queen Victoria and together they go alien hunting It was an interesting insight into Victoria s relationship with Torchwood.

    2. I was delighted There was Jack Harkness being himself in the 19th century, flirting with the Queen Victoria, action, aliens, puns, modern speech and tech right next to old old stuff this story pleased my soul.As always, I am still learning to embrace the noise effects and shouts that startle me, but the music background is great.

    3. That chemistry between Jack and Queen Victoria is beautifully done Thank you for treating my ears to this

    4. I wasn t sure I would like it but I actually loved it Their lines are great, Victoria is awesome and funny and they remind us of the different canons of new who A bit disappointed by the way they cut it into tracks, it stopped in the middle of scenes sometimes but that s ok

    5. I was sooo hoping to enjoy this The idea was so much cooler than the delivery Hoping the next installment is better I really love these BF Torchwood releases in general.

    6. Completely improbable but oh, so much fun Queen Vic is inspecting Torchwood London and insists on going with Cap n Jack to defeat a youth sucking monster My first audiobook of 2017.

    7. Her majesty queen Victoria and captain Jack Harkness team up while chasing down a life sucking alien attacking London, debating the immortality and meaning of life in between Only in Torchwood.

    8. Captain Jack is in the reign of Queen Victorian and Torchwood is being inspected by Queen herself While there a monster gets loose and the Queen and Jack race around London to catch it.

    9. Torchwood as a TV series never really quite came together for me The audio plays are another matter They finally get the formula right They re great fun All of them This one s a bit of a lark Jack and a later middle aged Queen Victoria, armed with alien weapons, chase monsters across the streets of London Given that set up you might think it s all played for laughs It is but only very slightly It is mostly in earnest and it is amusing I loved hearing the 19th century version of the usual Torchwo [...]

    10. Although the plot itself might be rather thin Queen Victoria and Captain Jack go monster hunting this episode that kicks off the second series of Torchwood Audios is really of an idyll on aging Queen Victoria played perfectly by Rowena Cooper ponders what it means to grow old and feel as if one s usefulness has passed The fun is had in her banter with Jack while she takes charge of the monster hunt, racing around London on horseback, and shooting at an alien who steals years away from its victi [...]

    12. There s the Queen and Jack Harkness And they banter And ride horses And shoot things Goodness all around I found the dialogue in this episode a bit stiffer feeling than some of the other Torchwood audios but generally a great story with lots of amusing and high paced action.

    13. This didn t quite meet my expectations Felt like filling in some of Jack s missing decades should have been entertaining and interesting For something that s only 54 minutes long, there felt like there was a bit of filler Overall good but not particularly awesome.

    14. Jack and Queen Victoria chasing an alien in London Wonderful stuff, and the Queen gets some wonderful one liners Highly recommended.
