    1. I loved Warren Such a fine man But like all of us humans has defects, who doesn t The way his father let his family in a really bad financial situation has haunted him all these years He s determined to not be like him so he works hard for everything he has and archives, that will cause him some troubles at some point with Marianne.About Marianne, I expected her behavior so it wasn t a surprise how distrustful she was Warren changes her little by little and at the same time she does the same for [...]

    2. It could have been a good storyThe title should have been Miss Marianne s Self pity The premise of a composer and a writer falling in love, each supporting the other and their talents as well as healing from past traumas could have been a good story Unfortunately this story was repetitive Marianne s bosom was mentioned so many times, it was itself a character and I lost all sympathy for the heroine.

    3. In this nicely written love story, Lee brings together a music loving heroine and an ex Naval surgeon turned author, both of whom are beset by their private demons She infuses her novel with a fine overview of the power of music along with the trials and tribulations of the written word, intelligent characters, sensuality and compassion 4 stars RT Book Reviews.Miniseries Scandal and Disgrace

    4. Ugh I dont know if I am in a slump or what I thought the story was going somewhere but jeez do I not like when a girl has what seems like no damn confidence in herself Also I failed to understand why it was so important to the story how huge her boobs were Did we need to be reminded every other scene

    5. A very solid regency Historically accurate, well written and an interesting story Also, I don t feel as if Marianne was too negative, what she went through was horrendous and very hard to recover from This was one of those historical accuracies I was speaking of, what happened to her would have been commonplace and expected.
