    1. Barefoot at Moonrise is one of the best contemporary romance stories I ve read It s humorous, passionate, romantic, and poignant Start to finish I was captivated by Beth and Ken s storyeir trials and their triumphs What a pleasure it was to read about a couple in their 40s because, while there was some angst, there was no immature, contrived drama It was refreshing to read about people who are settled adults not actively looking for love or relationships, but are content with just being themselv [...]

    3. Barefoot at Moonrise by Roxanne St Claire is a 2016 South Street Publishing release I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review First of all, I must applaud the author for creating a romantic series featuring mature adults, who is given a second chance at love at a stage in their lives I can relate to Yay This series proves romance is ageless and timeless When Ken s father died in a work related accident, he blamed Beth s father He said some truly horrible things to Beth [...]

    8. Barefoot at Moonrise is the second in the Silver Fox trilogy written by Roxanne St Claire The first book in the series was a wonderful romance, so when I was offered a chance to read and to review this book, I jumped at the chance Firefighter Ken Cavanaugh and Bethany Endicott have a history they were high school sweethearts and believed they would end up married and live happily ever after A tragic event changed that path for them, and when they encountered each other at their high school reuni [...]

    9. I enjoyed this as always however, I must also say that I didn t get as much of a feeling that this was a middle age couple as I did in the first book A couple of mentions of gray hair and their age was not quite enough to set the tone There was also a bit family soap opera than I cared for.Still, this was a very good second chance romance and St Clair is doing a great job with these Silver Fox stories.

    10. I love the mature characters, realistic plot, and excellent writing I m looking forward to Law Monroe s book later this month.

    11. 2.5Beth and Ken reunite at the high school reunion Back in the day, Ken dumped Beth because of a vendetta against her father and they hadn t spoken sense On the night of the reunion, they have a one night stand, but the reasons for their being apart still exist, so they part But then, Beth learns the impossible has happened and she s pregnant So she tracks down Ken to tell him, before going on about her life But Ken isn t about to let her walk away again He s ready to fight for his family, which [...]

    12. I am going to go ahead and confess that my main draw to this series Barefoot Bay Timeless is that it s about men and women who are in their forties I ve read a lot of young adult new adult books over the last couple years, and I m a little fatigued by all drama, angst and repetitive descriptions of how hot the heros are To find a series that is about mature people, who deal with real situations in a mature way, is very refreshing.Ken Cavanaugh and Beth Endicott fell in love when they were teenag [...]

    18. Barefoot at Moonrise was an entertaining book.I like well written second chance books, and I especially enjoyed it being about an older couple With mature characters the dynamics is different and the possibilities are vast.Communicate with my partner, believe in yourself and your partner compromise and give 100% to make the relationship work so there would be no regrets.

    24. My favorite of the Barefoot Bay universe so far I really enjoyed Barefoot at Moonrise A second chance romance with a firefighter hero and his un firefighterly dog Yes, please I loved only you can call me Kenny and poster child for independent women Beth Together or apart, they are a hero and heroine it s easy to root for They re not perfect Beth takes the independent bit a little too far at times, and Ken has a tendency to see things as a bit black and white then they actually are but together [...]

    25. I love L O V E this new series by Roxanne St Clair The Barefoot Bay Timeless series focuses on mature men, those with a little smoke wisping through their hair But believe me, with these guys the old adage where there s smoke there s fire has never rung so true Fire Capt Ken Cavanaugh is on the scene at the Mimosa Key all year high school reunion at Barefoot Bay, one of only 3 men on the planning committee Also on that committee is his high school girlfriend, Bethany Endicott A life altering tra [...]
