    1. Foreign Enemies and Traitors paints an even bleaker picture of our future as Phil Carson can no longer hide from the realities of the lost freedom of his homeland On a smuggling run, Carson is shipwrecked along the Southern Gulf coast with no means of retreating back to the relative safety and anonymity of the Caribbean where he had been hiding He joins up with a group of freedom fighters led by a former Special Forces soldier who could not carry out the illegal orders he was given by his govern [...]

    2. I found the book to be a satisfying conclusion of the Enemies Trilogy The storyline is tightly constructed and, other than Mr Bracken s tendency to put too many words into his descriptions resulting in my tendency to skip to the next quote of dialogue , the action was easy to visualize. As to the subject matter.I would suggest the less direct use of obamanation might keep the story current The series topic is universal, but the Obama and Bill Ayers connection has a limited shelf life.Overall, t [...]

    3. Outstanding read easily building on the first two in the series and eclipsing them with ease.Numerous parallels to the world around us and that public cast of characters makes for a real thinker Good fun adventure, a bit of the best sorts of human drama can t explain lest it be spoiled and virtue as a guiding value.

    4. Great trilogy I haven t read a trilogy this exciting and relevant in a while If you like a good political thriller than I highly recommend this series It will leave you feeling like wow what if you find some of what is happening in this book can easily be happening today.

    5. Great plot lines, great characters The book is very readable I hope he has a forth book in this series. Its fiction that gives you something to think about.

    6. I really enjoy Matthew Bracken s what if series and possible vision of things to come Unfortunately, there were some parts of Foreign Enemies and Traitors which gave me pause in that I wasn t sure that the racist view towards African Americans was the voice of the character or the voice of the author.Trilogy overview view spoiler Foreign Enemies And Traitors is the third in a trilogy The first book dealt with the 2nd Amendment rights, the second book dealt with the possible consequences of Immig [...]

    7. Tremendousto close to the happenings going on in our country and the world, so much of it is like a roadmap, showing what we should avoid

    8. I thought it was a good book, perhaps a bit longer than it might need to be I really hope the author is wrong about what he might see for the future

    9. AmazingThe storyline, the characters, just amazing I couldn t put these books down All Americans should read these books and learn from them

    10. This entire series could have benefited from a few rounds with an editor There were some parts that rambled on and on, but if you can skim read through those parts, it s still an interesting story The author is a right wing nut job I m not sure if it s just an act or if he s really a ghost author for Bill O Reilly WAY too many references to Mad Max I don t even know what that is but clearly the author thinks he s being clever or funny by throwing the same old pop culture throw back reference al [...]

    11. This is one of better series in the genre of the consequences of government usurpation of the Constitution Particular attention is taken to project the consequences of cultural and ethnic splits in the population as the United States breaks into regional autonomous entities. This last book in the series concentrates on the possible impact of a central government trying to rely on external governments for assistance in maintaining power Many characters from previous books are here is parts of the [...]

    12. A Very Satisfying Conclusion to the TrilogyMatthew Bracken has written a very satisfying conclusion that returns the reader to a state of hope after the momentous but wrenching prior two installments. He is a superb writer The detailed speeches confessions exhortations and just general dialog ring true and realistic The situations comprising the plot line of the trilogy also ring true and realistic, however gut wrenching they may be If only the untruths and the true motivations of the principals [...]

    13. WOW Ok, I loved the first book in this series I hated when Mr Bracken killed off the main character in it, but it was all worth the payoff The second book was good, but I like a good strong male character, and it took a while for him to develop, but here, we are paid off in solid gold This book made the whole series complete and pulled everything together I even teared up during the epilogue.

    14. good storyline, excessive repetition The story line is very catching and keeps a good pace while reeling the reader in The glaring problem is the incessant repetition of erroneous details such as the color of two female characters eyes and the curves of the body Once is enough Now move on to developing the character One is literally able to skip likely one third of each book by simply recognizing the recurring drivel.

    15. It took me FOREVER to get through this trilogy While the story is very good, the writer tends to drone on about things that are totally unnecessary This book, as the previous two, could do with some extensive editing I usually don t skim when reading but by this third book I found myself doing just that in order to get past the parts that bog down the story.

    16. I liked this novel but it had too many problems to give it stars There were a couple of typos, but what bothered me most was the repetition of stories A character would tell a story and then in the same chapter tell it again to another person Without the repetitions, it would have been a reasonable length and not so wordy.

    17. Hopefully this situation never happens. This series bass been an interesting but frighteningly possible The current administration seems so close to this very same case as well as the current democrat candidate is rather scary for the American people.

    18. This book is definitely the best of the three The story is pretty tight and it completes well, but not too far fetched I ended up really liking a couple of the characters too Overall, great book that is worth reading.

    19. Thankful for our FreedomI became interested thru my son, who is a firm believer in the Constitution One has to be alert and involved, to assure we will always have the freedom enjoyed by all true Americans.

    20. Intriguing I enjoyed all 3 of the books in the series Each one kept me on edge and eagerly waiting to read the next one The premise of the books certainly gave me a lot to think about, considering what has been going on in our country.

    21. Another good redMatt manages to bring you through some ups and downs on this joy ride ending in the series I did struggle for a brief chapter or two 3 4 the way through but it had a good ending I know the left will hate it but all in all I enjoyed it.

    22. Good but.Seemed a bit anti climatic to me After all of that the end is just a tad bit disappointing to me.

    23. A good readWell, that was an exciting story that people can learn a lot from I think that all Americans should read this series.

    24. The author has an tendency to get lost in the details of his work, and in the process also loosing the reader.

    25. Good conclusion for the seriesVery enjoyable read I enjoyed the entire series With the present person in the white house, I could see this happening.
