    1. The entire reason to read this story is the reveal If you read the blurb, you are supposed to be reading about the cop who leads the organization who supports Superman not actual Superman, but it s the same character And that is true, for a few issues It s fine, but Batman books about Gordon have trod that ground many times But then the reveal, and suddenly this book is special and I want to keep reading Spoiler tags on the rest because of the thing I really think should be in the blurb view spo [...]

    2. ABSOLUTE RATING 3 5 stars STANDARDIZED RATING 3 5 starsI think this would have been something I enjoyed much if only thing started moving along earlier I had general suspicions as early as issue one, and it got progressively and frustrating waiting to get answers However, the writing throughout is oddly well written, even though it feels it shouldn t be I was hoping for something in the ranks of Black Adam The Dark Age, which was, again surprising, and quite impressive Most of the events in [...]

    3. Interesting story hard to describe or relate to without giving something away So read on at your perilSpoilersSpoilersSpoilersThe art is fantastic, rather classic in style and execution It fully supports a classic superhero tale, though it feels from early on that something ain t quite right in this brave old world The foreboding grows slowly and even abates for long enough that started to question if I was making too much out of nothing And then it goes into overdrive.Feels reminiscent of Irred [...]

    4. Reads like a classic, old fashioned Superman story, at least in the beginning, although there is something in the shadowy, almost noirish quality of the art that makes one suspect there is than meets the eyed the writers make you wait so long you almost give up on that suspicion But when the twist finally comes, things get very interesting very quickly, and you almost cannot wait to see what happens next The art and writing is consistently good, and skilfully executed.

    5. The Mighty Vol 1 collects the first six issues of The Mighty comic book that were originally published in 2009.The story is intriguing and well constructed, even though it is a bit slow paced The biggest downside of this collection is that as soon as the pace picks up it abruptly ends. The art is good enough, but not great, and some of the facial expressions are way off.All in all, a great first volume, even if it is a bit slow paced.

    6. What a great book The script was great I d love to have by Tomasi and Champagne and the art was top notch This book is a nice departure from the super hero stories from Marvel or DC You might think it s going to be a rip off of a Superman type character, but, it s not I never spoil, but, trust me, there s a twist.

    7. I so appreciate Peter Tomasi s scripts in his own creations I this case, he collaborates with writer Keith Champagne and artists Peter Snejberg and Chris Samnee in a great portrayal of a dis functional superhero with the power of Superman Now in the middle of Volume 2, or precisely, the original comics in monthly chapter length installments.Recommended.

    8. Such an interesting concept with the idea of what would really happen if Superman or in this case a Superman esque character, were secretly evil.

    9. Too easily to give spoilers away a very interesting take on a world with only one superhero Recommended for comic book fans.

    10. This was a very interesting concept I wanted to see how this panned out arc please I am anxious for the second book Bought this off , and was not disappointed.
