This is a quaint little tome full of good, clean, folksy fun Chapter 1 touches upon the standard Halloween emblems black cats, bobbing for apples, candles, pumpkins, candy, pumpkin pie, ghosts, witches, cemeteries, etc It mentions that Halloween s origins came from a Celtic festival taken over by All Saints Day and All Souls Day and then names some of the older British folk practices concerning these Catholic feast days The most interesting part of the book is the detailed, several page descript [...]
