This is the usual formula, drunken step father gambles away pretty step daughter to a prestige guy and thus the story begins Vincent won Bridgget in a game of cards, he then took her home with him, there Bridgget met his family as well as Vincent training her to pleasure him sexually Its a good read not bad the characters had a a lot of issues to resolve with each other especially when Bridgget comes out of her shell of shyness and naive Vincent seem a little mean sometimes Join my book group on [...]

I remember reading this book many moons ago and thinking to myself that this must be one of the worst forms of erotic literature that I ve ever read As far as I m concerned there is nothing erotic about a hero that abuses the heroine for practically 3 4 of the entire book Admittedly the hero did have a pretty gruesome past but nevertheless the heroine did not deserve to be treated like a piece of meat

    3. Jill Noelle has a talent for putting breath into her characters and creating stories the reader won t want to end.
